An AC vacuum contactor is an electrical device used to control AC circuits. Its main functions include:

The use of high-voltage vacuum contactors requires caution and should be operated according to the following steps:

  1. Safety preparation: Before operating a high-voltage vacuum contactor, ensure that you understand and comply with the relevant safety operating procedures. Ensure that you wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and goggles. Check the status of the equipment to ensure that it is in normal working order and that there is no damage or leakage.

  2. Vacuum system preparation: Ensure that the vacuum system is correctly connected and sealed. Check the connection status of equipment such as the vacuum pump, gas supply, and exhaust pipes, and ensure that there are no leaks.

  3. Start vacuuming: Turn on the vacuum pump and, according to the equipment's operating manual or instructions, extract the gas from the system until the required vacuum is reached. Set the appropriate vacuuming speed and vacuum requirements according to the equipment guidelines.

  4. Connect high-voltage power supply: After reaching the required vacuum, connect the high-voltage power supply to the contactor via connecting wires according to system requirements. Ensure that the connecting wires are correctly installed and that the connecting nuts are tightened.

  5. Control operation: Control the status of the high-voltage vacuum contactor, such as opening, closing, or switching, through the buttons or switches on the instrument or control panel. The specific operation method will depend on the design of the contactor and the control system.

  6. Observation and monitoring: During operation, closely observe the working status of the high-voltage vacuum contactor. Pay attention to any abnormal sounds, odors, or temperature changes. Ensure that the equipment is operating normally and meets the requirements.

  7. Disconnect and vent: When the operation is complete, according to the equipment guidelines, first disconnect the high-voltage power supply, and then release the gas through the exhaust valve in the system.

  8. Turn off the vacuum system: Turn off the vacuum pump and, according to the system's operating guidelines, turn off all related equipment in sequence to ensure safety and correctness.
